Dwarka and Somnath sit on the same stretch of the Saurashtra coast, which makes them a natural pair for a short pilgrimage. With your own cab and driver, three days is a relaxed pace.
Day 1: Jamnagar to Dwarka
Leave Jamnagar early and reach Dwarka, about 137 km away, in time for darshan at the Dwarkadhish Temple. Spend the afternoon at Bet Dwarka (by boat from Okha) and Nageshwar, then stay overnight in Dwarka.
Day 2: Dwarka to Somnath
Follow the coast south towards Somnath. It is a long drive, so start after breakfast and plan a lunch stop on the way. Aim to arrive by late afternoon for the evening aarti and the light and sound show by the sea, then stay overnight.
Day 3: Somnath and back to Jamnagar
Visit Triveni Sangam and Bhalka Tirth in the morning before the drive home — roughly 235 km, usually four and a half to five and a half hours.
Good to know
- Phones and bags usually go into the cloakroom before you enter Somnath temple.
- Want a beach day? Diu is about 90 km from Somnath and fits well as a fourth day.
- Families and small groups often choose an Innova; groups of up to 12 can travel together in our Tempo Traveller.
Ask for a multi-day round trip and we will confirm the full fare before you travel — call 99982 22323 or see our Jamnagar to Somnath cab page.
